Vacancy available: we are hiring a road roller operator in Polk County, Minnesota. The job is at a landfill site. The role involves keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels. Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance Rotating shifts.
