Now hiring: we are hiring a carpenter in Rice County, Kansas. Ideal candidate: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists Day to day you will hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
