Tig welder • Weber County, Utah

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tig welder in Weber County, Utah. The role involves: • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings 3+ years on the tools preferred.
