Wheel loader operator — Monroe County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a wheel loader operator in Monroe County, Indiana. You will work in an open-cast mine. Day-to-day duties: • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines What we are looking for: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance Full-time with occasional weekends.
