Milling machine operator wanted in Halifax County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Halifax County, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls The role involves: • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
