Immediate opening: shuttering fixer (Michigan)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Kalkaska County, Michigan. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Day-to-day duties: • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs Requirements: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level Six days a week, one day off.
