Banksman — Tulare County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a banksman in Tulare County, California. On the job you will handle: • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Six days a week, one day off.
