Crane rigger — Worcester County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a crane rigger in Worcester County, Massachusetts. On the job you will handle: • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle Ideal candidate: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites 2+ years on the tools preferred.
