Lorry driver • Fayette County, Illinois

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lorry driver in Fayette County, Illinois. You will be based at a logistics warehouse. The role involves couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load; report defects and book the unit in for servicing; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off. You should have: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
