Fusing press operator wanted in Putnam County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Putnam County, Illinois. You will work in a garment export house. On the job you will handle: • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board What we are looking for: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
