Urgent requirement: we are hiring a dogger in Gwandu, Kebbi State. You will work at a shipyard. You will read lift plans and method statements before starting; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks. Requirements: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear 4+ years on the tools preferred.
