Power press operator — Gilpin County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a power press operator in Gilpin County, Colorado. The job is in a forging and pressing unit. The role involves apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
