Now hiring: air conditioning installer (Virginia)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an air conditioning installer in York County, Virginia. The job is at a refrigeration and cooling firm. You will insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving; core-drill through brick and concrete walls to route the refrigerant piping; run and lag the condensate drain line with the right fall; braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks; clean filters, blower wheels and condenser coils during servicing; recover the refrigerant before dismantling or relocating a unit. You should have: • Confident brazing copper and running nitrogen pressure tests • Own set of hand tools, gauges and flaring kit preferred • Physically fit to lift outdoor units and work in tight spaces At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
