Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welder in Schenectady County, New York. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Your main tasks: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel Requirements: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
