Plant operator (dozer) • Thomas County, Nebraska

We are recruiting: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Thomas County, Nebraska. The job is at a land-clearing site. On the job you will handle: • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site What we are looking for: • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
