Great opportunity: we are hiring a JCB operator in Pulaski County, Virginia. The role involves: • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly Ideal candidate: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
