Tile fixer — Jefferson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tile fixer in Jefferson County, Kansas. You will be based in a kitchen and bathroom refurbishment. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts You will make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits; screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling; fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even; apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas; cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter; run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $3,100 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
