Vertical milling machine operator wanted in Jackson Parish

Join our team: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Jackson Parish, Louisiana. Your main tasks: • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters What we are looking for: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience 6+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $3,300 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
