Ironing operator • Toombs County, Georgia

Vacancy available: we are hiring an ironing operator in Toombs County, Georgia. Day to day you will clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; give each garment a final press before packing; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Rotating shifts.
