Vacancy available: stitching operator (Iowa)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stitching operator in Sioux County, Iowa. You will meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet. You should have: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
