Immediate opening: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Bremer County, Iowa. You should have: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Confident with standard crane hand signals On the job you will handle: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads Full-time, day shift.
