Lathe operator — Mellette County

What we are looking for: • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • Good attention to detail and steady hands The role involves: • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
