Immediate opening: backhoe operator (Maine)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Kennebec County, Maine. The job is in a demolition and site-clearance yard. What we are looking for: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence The role involves: • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains We offer $4,900 per month plus benefits.
