Power float operator — Richland Parish

We are recruiting: we are hiring a power float operator in Richland Parish, Louisiana. The job is on a high-rise slab pour. You will mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout. Ideal candidate: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage 5+ years on the tools preferred. $24 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
