Stamping press operator — Douglas County

Join our team: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Douglas County, Missouri. You will work in a metal fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Day to day you will load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer $3,400 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
