Immediate opening: we are hiring a groundskeeper in Stanislaus County, California. The job is at a private estate garden. Your main tasks: • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades Requirements: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. We offer $3,800 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
