Die-casting operator wanted in Tucker County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Tucker County, West Virginia. What we are looking for: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Your main tasks: • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture Six days a week, one day off.
