Formwork carpenter — Abak

Join our team: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Abak, Akwa Ibom State. You will work at a reinforced concrete building site. Requirements: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing The role involves: • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
