Die-casting operator • Lumpkin County, Georgia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Lumpkin County, Georgia. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. What we are looking for: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor You will tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
