Horizontal milling machine operator — Middlesex County

Now hiring: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Middlesex County, Virginia. You will work at a fabrication and machining plant. The role involves carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence. Ideal candidate: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $27 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
