Now hiring: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Crook County, Oregon. The job is on a busy housing site. On the job you will handle: • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Full-time with occasional weekends.
