Port container crane operator — Polk County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Polk County, Florida. You will work at a container port and shipping yard. The role involves: • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) Ideal candidate: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • A good head for heights for tower crane work At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
