Steel fixer — Maradun

Now hiring: we are hiring a steel fixer in Maradun, Zamfara State. The job is on a commercial tower construction site. Day to day you will lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors. You should have: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
