Immediate opening: lathe programmer-operator (Indiana)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Fayette County, Indiana. The job is at a busy machine shop. Requirements: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T You will set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles.
