Fabrication workshop technician — Catahoula Parish

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Catahoula Parish, Louisiana. You will be based on site fitting windows in new-build flats. The role involves: • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam What we are looking for: • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits 2+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $5,200 per month, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
