Argon welder • Ushongo, Benue State

Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welder in Ushongo, Benue State. Day-to-day duties: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
