Bricklayer wanted in La Plata County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bricklayer in La Plata County, Colorado. Ideal candidate: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets On the job you will handle: • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
