Gas meter installer — Henry County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Henry County, Indiana. The job is in customers' homes and kitchens. You will check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply. You should have: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration 3+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $2,800 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
