Toolroom milling operator wanted in Metcalfe County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Metcalfe County, Kentucky. What we are looking for: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work Your main tasks: • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
