Conventional mill operator — Haralson County

Join our team: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Haralson County, Georgia. The job is at a busy machine shop. Your main tasks: • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control Ideal candidate: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
