Vacancy available: we are hiring a butcher in Hughes County, South Dakota. You will be based at a wholesale meat market. You should have: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Your main tasks: • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Season and marinate meat on request Rotating shifts.
