TIG welder — Hardin County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a TIG welder in Hardin County, Texas. The job is in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Day-to-day duties: • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through Ideal candidate: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
