Immediate opening: we are hiring a power float operator in McLennan County, Texas. The role involves discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing. Requirements: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
