Trowel-trade bricklayer — Monroe County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Monroe County, Michigan. On the job you will handle: • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters Requirements: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
