Vacancy available: we are hiring a tig welder in Swisher County, Texas. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight 3+ years on the tools preferred.
