On a typical shift you will dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate. Ideal candidate: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain Full-time with occasional weekends.
