Now hiring: we are hiring a confectioner in Vernon County, Missouri. Your main tasks: • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter Requirements: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
