Immediate opening: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Colbert County, Alabama. On a typical shift you will stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish. You should have: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
