Shuttering charge hand — St. Clair County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in St. Clair County, Missouri. The job is at an infrastructure construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules Pay around $4,800 per month, based on your experience.
