Join our team: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Martin County, Minnesota. The role involves assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces. Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
